Dr. Matthew Belton, currently in fourth year of practice at the University of Colorado, specializing in Orthopedic Hand/Wrist/Elbow surgery. This is my third year working with CU Athletics. Born and raised in Southern California. Went to college at the University of Notre Dame, medical school at University of Texas in Houston, and completed residency at Colorado. Hand fellowship was done at the University of Utah and returned as faculty to CU. Practice spans Denver to Boulder County. Currently the Assistant Program Director of the residency program. Research interests include optimizing hand surgical procedures to decrease recovery period and improve patient reported outcomes.  I enjoy spending time with my wife, Liz, and our two border collies, Sonny and Luna, and playing golf.
