Dr. Aaron J. Monseau is a Professor in the WVU Department of Emergency Medicine and the Head Team Physician and Medical Director for WVU Athletics.  A native of West Liberty, West Virginia, A.J. completed his undergraduate at West Liberty State College (now West Liberty University) before medical school at WVU.  Following his residency in Emergency Medicine at WVU and his Sports Medicine fellowship at University of Michigan, he returned to WVU to practice Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine in 2011.  Since then, he has held various leadership positions for the Emergency Medicine residency program then started the Sports Medicine Fellowship at WVU in 2018.
