Big 12 Faculty

Dr. Eric Robinson is a board-certified sports medicine physician with experience caring for elite athletes across multiple disciplines. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Arizona, completed his family medicine residency at Wake Forest University, and pursued a sports medicine fellowship with Intermountain health in partnership with BYU. He began his clinical practice at the CORE Institute in Gilbert, Arizona before returning to Intermountain Health, where he has practiced for the past 13 years. His career has included caring for Olympic athletes as well as a clinical consultant for both Arizona Diamondbacks and Anaheim Angels organizations. He currently serves as the head team physician for Utah Valley University in the WAC conference and as a staff team physician for BYU in the Big XII conference.
